A little about TPAS:-
We act as the vital hub between tenants, landlords and Government helping create
successful relationships
By informing tenants how to challenge,influence and control how their housing services
are delivered, we can improve tenants’ quality of life and help landlords operate
more effectively and efficiently. As one of the first organisations to specialise
in tenant involvement at a national level, we’ve been leading the way ever since;
successfully joining up government policy with front-line service delivery and grassroots
tenants’ groups.
Our nationwide membership is made up of local tenants and their landlords,providing
us with unique insight into the needs of all parties.

Bournville Village Trust belongs to a County Network of Housing Providers that are committed to Resident Involvement. Severnside Housing in Shrewsbury is one of these and has offered access to all their training and development courses to any BVT resident in Shropshire. The courses cover a large range of both practical and learning opportunities.
I am happy to cover the costs of the courses from my involvement budget , on a first come first served basis and as long as there are places available. I will also consider any special requests for assistance with childcare costs to enable everyone to have the same opportunities. The courses are all held in and around Shrewsbury , if anyone needs help with transport costs, I am happy to consider this but would ask that people car share where possible . Residents can book on the course direct and Severnside will advise me of the numbers , however it would be useful if I was advised at the same time
